Article : Oasis reunion speculation

The article I have chosen is related to music, and talks about the possible reunion of British band Oasis.
The article says that the speculation started after Liam Gallagher, former singer and frontman of the band, wrote a series of tweets in his twitter account last Thursday night that spelled out the name of the band, followed by a final tweet that said “Oasis”, signed by “LG”. Rumors also say that they might be preparing their return for headlining Glastonbury festival in June but there’s not an official confirmation.
It’s been said that they tried to contact with Gallagher’s publicist for any comment about it but they were not available. Also, they are old quotes from Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, who told in an interview with NME in January that he thinks that Liam could do it (perform at Glastonbury) because it is what he loves, his passion.
A spokesperson for Noel Gallagher said they were not in position to comment on Liam’s tweets. But in the article it’s recall that Noel said last November that he won’t be in the reunion if it happens because “there is no band”.
There’s contextual information at the end of the article that says that Oasis split in 2009 after a backstage fight between brothers Liam and Noel.

Memorable party

It was in 2010’s winter vacations. My best friend's parents had gone out for the weekend so I was gonna stay with her so she wouldn’t be alone. We invited a few friends and had a small party there. They brought Tequila and that’s when all starts to get bad. Fast forward a few hours, we're all fucked up and having a blast.

But this one friend of mine (I won’t say her name) was nuts. We were all dancing and drinking and doing stupid stuff but she was out of control. She was jumping around chairs and running through the big window in the living room. We tried to calm her down but she got mad and started drinking more. It was her first time drinking.

It was cold that night so at some point someone must have closed the window but of course she didn’t notice it. So when she started running around again, she tried to go to the backyard but she got hit so hard in the face that she broke the glass of the window.

How the hell can you break a window with your face?! She was so drunk that she didn’t cry just started laughing. When we saw that she didn’t hurt herself that bad we all started laughing too. We cleaned up the mess in the house and picked up the glasses from the floor and we decided call it a night. Short story, when my friend’s parents came back we told them that the dog broke the window and that’s the official version until now.

The worst movie.

I’ve seen tons of bad movies in my life. I’m a film maniac and I could say I watch three or four movies in a week, at least. And of course there are more bad movies than good ones, so pick just one is really hard. But there’s this one movie that I hate with passion: Grown Ups Part 2.

It’s torture. It’s even worse than the first part if that’s even possible. There’s no plot and I’m not exaggerating. I mean, I’m trying to remember what’s was about and all I can remember is four repulsive guys (Adam Sandler and three others actors I don’t really know) wandering around, worried about the stupidest problems that you could ever imagine. Bad jokes, disgusting scenes and misogynistic and homophobic topics made it the worst movie I saw in 2013. And the saddest.

And I had to watch it like five times. I went to the theater to watch it with my friends and it still hurts me that I pay for that crap. And then, every time that I traveled back home last year they were showing it on the bus. And people would actually laugh at it. I mean how. Just my luck.

A country I'd like to visit

It seems like a pretty obvious choice but I would love to visit England someday. I just, I’ve always been in love with that country. I think it’s because since forever I’ve loved things related to their pop culture, silly I know. But being a big fan of British bands like Muse, Coldplay or Arctic Monkeys; loving tv shows like Doctor Who or Sherlock Holmes, or even my Harry Potter phase fan made me love the country. Plus, I find their accent very sexy. But a few years ago I met wonderful people from there. I made really good friends; they were lovely to me and they keeping being it every time I talk to them for skype so I would love visit them in London.
I know the basics stuff about England, like the most visited places and a little about their politic system. I would love to visit the Big Ben and the British Parliament. But what I’d love the most could be watching any game at the Wembley stadium. That could be the dream.
Living there could be amazing. From what I’ve been told it’s always cloudy in there and that’s priceless for me because I hate sun. I’d study or work in there, I’ll take any chance I get.

Ideal job

What my ideal job could be? That’s a really difficult question. I mean, I know that I would love to work in a job that allows me to earn lots of money, but I’m studying journalism so let’s be real. I honestly have no idea what I would like to do after I finish university but I hope it ends being something writing related.

That would be something in what I would feel comfortable with. I’ve written since I was a child, mostly short stories and songs, and I got positive comments on my writing style in a few classes last year so I would like to think that I’m good at it.

It could be awesome work for a press agency and get to travel a lot while reporting and then write some reports or stories about it. I like interacting with people and it seems that I’m very perceptive from what I’ve been told so I think I would do a good job. I know it’s hard to get a job like this but a girl can dream.
